"Books, the Spaces we are living in together."
There is a main character. The main character makes his own story. There is a painting. The painting makes stories more brimming. Books are made in this way and we can encounter many places as interesting as the stories in books. It can be a place where we hung around in this morning, a spaceship flying far away, and a world where monsters live. Children's remarkable imaginations can make unlimited spaces and places.
At Paju Bookcity Book Festival for Children 2009, those "spaces" are the main theme. You can visit various spaces where you used to meet from books in this exhibition. In addition to that, you can see various books which describe the spaces in three dimensions. Books are not just simply fun stories for children and reading books are not just for fun. Our children can make spaces by reading books deeply and graphically.
Moreover, we are willing to help them to classify books into subjects by themselves and to read books with open-minded thought. Center
The book is where we are living together and has unlimited potentialities.
